Trinidad, CA

This is Trinidad Bay in Humboldt County. It's beautiful, rugged and home to local commercial fisherman. On the big mountain (Trinidad Head) lives a Coast Guard Station only accessible by foot or 4-wheel drive. There is a pier you can walk out on and watch the boats coming in and the sea lions and seals swimming in the bay.

Really like this photo. You've captured the waves and the fog, yet the rugged coastline and trees show through as if in separete layers. Good composition, too... it's a keeper.

Gorgeous, thats proper scenery right there. I wouldnt mind getting up in the morning if lived there...:0) Do you live near Big Sur? I wanted to visit there when i went to San Francisco but i couldnt persuade my sister to drive on american roads :(

Trinidad CA is located at the far Northern edge of California. It's about 60 miles from Oregon on the California coast. It is very beautiful here and it is always breathtaking to see this beautiful ocean.
